It’s an awful title I decided to plump on top of this text. But it suddenly seems to be quite a phenomenon ‘the gay best friend’. 

The way the media are, and everyone slightly hip, is talking about this subject makes me wonder whether or not I can actually purchase such an individual. Can I buy one while I’m shopping for groceries or is it more like a rental car or something? 

To be honest I find the idea disgusting and completely insane. Why the fuck are people seriously collecting friends based on sexual orientatien even when it is to NO relevance to them whatsoever? Yes okay, so to the average heterosexual woman they seem to have some very special qualities, they go shopping as well as their girlfriends, but in contrast, they are honest…. 

The other day, I heard this woman on television -who had dragged her ‘rental’ along with her, to that particular show- say that she had many of them (GBF’s). Her gay in the public (at least if I’m not mistaken) even stated he was something ‘like’ a HANDBAG. I was a bit astounded by this remark. He was like a representative telling the public gay-men do not have any self-esteem or diginity whatsoever!

Or at least that is what I would think as an ignorant person without gay-‘contacts’. 

Then the host of the show asked the woman, a heterosexual writer who was clearly an expert on homosexuals and their relationships…whether or not there was also such a thing for heterosexual guys (not gays). Whether or not lesbians could also serve such an outstanding position in society (well he clearly didn’t say that, but you get the point). Well I don’t remember the exact scene, but the whole idea was ridiculed and they resumed the conversation, talking about the happy gays instead of talking about the cranky butchy ladies.

So not only are gays handbag, lesbians don’t even get to be!

Clearly I’m rather dissapointed… So, I guess I have to find another carreer instead of being a homosexual best friend.

That is why most of them are man-haters.  They got their heart broken or were used and they decided women would be better for them.

First of all, lesbians LOVE men. Certain men :). Not ALL men we’re not that greedy!  Second, omfg so many have never even touched a dude I mean seriously! I for one haven’t. And if they did, it was probably for the reason mentioned above. LOVE people. Or curiosity… Or behaviour consistent with the norms in our heteronormative societies, since straightness is indeed most common.

And why is it than that gay-dudes supposedly love their moms too much? I mean how inconsistent is that? In that case they should’ve been SUPERDUPER straight!

Okay like whatever… 

I was walking across the cinema with this friend.. 

Of course we talked about whether or not to see a movie. She suggested some hideous ones and after that she opted for ‘friends with benefits’. “Or would that be weird?” she said. “Yes,” I told her, “and in the worsed case they get together, you know,”
